COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT MECHANIC

This is a skilled position that primarily involves repair and maintenance of a large fleet of heavy equipment including dump trucks, graders, loaders, excavators and more. We are looking for someone with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

DUTIES:

•Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.

•Assist drivers with day-to-day maintenance.

•Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.

•Disassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel & exhaust systems, brakes, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical systems and lubricating systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Journeyman’s certificate

•Valid Driver’s License

•Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
